On April 30th, the first Huawei Global Optical Summit (GOS) was successfully held in Bangkok, Asia-Pacific.

At the event, Huawei launched a series of F5G-A products and solutions for the Asia-Pacific region, and initiated the Optix Club membership recruitment globally to promote industry intelligence.

Chen Banghua, President of Huawei's Optical Product Line, stated in his opening speech, "Optical interconnection and perception are the cornerstones of industry intelligence. Industry intelligence brings three major trends to the optical industry: the decline of copper in favor of optical, the decline of electricity in favor of optical, and the decline of human intervention in favor of optical."

Huawei mentioned that households and communities are transitioning to "optical over copper," where copper lines need to be upgraded to fiber optics.

Home broadband technology is evolving from the traditional "Fiber to the Home" to the current "Fiber to the Room" stage, providing an ultimate digital experience for household living.

In response to this trend, Huawei introduced the ISP all-optical target network for the "Fiber to the Room" era.

On the access side, Huawei offers comprehensive home broadband solutions such as FTTR and Trouble-Free ONT to help ISPs enhance user experience and reduce operational expenses.

For metropolitan and backbone networks, Huawei's leading 400G OTN products and innovative metropolitan pool wavelength division multiplexing solutions enable ISPs to effectively manage the increasing traffic in metropolitan and backbone networks. s_1012a30882af4158af9e937b585d3d36.jpg
