Pulsestacks reported on April 19th that Huawei kicked off its Pura 70 series smartphones at 10:08 am yesterday, igniting a frenzy of purchases. The series includes four versions: Standard Edition, Pro, Pro+, and Ultra, with the Pro and Ultra versions going on sale yesterday.
Pulsestacks found that there are certain differences in the Star Flash feature among the Huawei Pura 70 series smartphones. According to the Huawei official website, currently, the HUAWEI Mate 60 series, Pocket 2 phone, Pura 70 Pro, Pura 70 Pro+, and Pura 70 Ultra support this feature. However, the Huawei Pura 70 Standard Edition phone does not support this feature.
Huawei customer service has also responded to inquiries regarding user-related issues, confirming that the Huawei Pura 70 Standard Edition smartphone does not support the starlight feature.
The Huawei Pura 70 Standard Edition smartphone features a 6.6-inch 2760 × 1256 pixel OLED display with a 1-120Hz LTPO adaptive refresh rate. It boasts a triple rear camera setup and a 4900mAh battery, supporting 66W wired fast charging, 50W wireless fast charging, and 7.5W wireless reverse charging. It comes with a Type-C port (USB 3.1 GEN1). The device runs on HarmonyOS 4.2, supporting AI air gestures, smart payments, and integrating the Pangubox large model for AI noise reduction, AI cloud enhancement, and more intelligent applications.
