On April 15th, pulsestacks reported that digital blogger @数码闲聊站 revealed today that there are 4 models being tested on the Huawei official website for the Huawei Pura series phones:
- Pura 70
- Pura 70 Pro
- Pura 70 Pro+
- Pura 70 Ultra
After testing by PulseStacks, all test URLs currently display "Page Not Found," and browsing is expected to be enabled after the official launch of the Huawei Pura 70 series smartphones.
Additionally, Huawei has released a second teaser video titled "Chasing the Heart, Advancing with Determination." The video mentions: "Pura is a rebirth, stemming from purity, born unique; it's a style, modern simplicity, with elegant taste; it's a spirit, rejecting norms, pursuing excellence. With bold imagination, explore unseen beauty; with a pioneering perspective, open up a brand-new vision; with original style, lead the fashion trend."
The Huawei Pura series of smartphones is expected to innovate once again in both hardware and software aspects of imaging, bringing more powerful imaging configurations and a completely new imaging style.
Huawei's P series is officially upgraded to the Pura series today. Yu Chengdong, Executive Director and CEO of Huawei's Consumer Business Group, and Chairman of the Intelligent Automotive Solutions Business Unit, stated, "The development history of the P series is the history of mobile imaging, and also the evolution of aesthetic technology."
- Ascend P1: Released in January 2012, featuring a Texas Instruments 4460 dual-core processor, 1+4GB memory/storage combo, priced at 2999 CNY.
- Ascend P2: Unveiled at the 2013 Mobile World Congress in February, but only available in foreign markets, powered by the Huawei HiSilicon K3V2 processor.
- Ascend P6: Released in June 2013, touted as one of the thinnest smartphones globally at 6.18mm thickness.
- Ascend P7: Launched in May 2014, equipped with a 5-inch 1080P display, 2+16GB storage combo, and a Kirin 910T processor.
- P8: Released in April 2015, dropping the "Ascend" prefix. Featuring Kirin 930/935 processors, alongside the P8 MAX variant.

Following the conclusion of the HarmonyOS Spring Eco-Communication Conference on April 11th, images of the back of the Huawei P70 began circulating online. The photos reveal a triangular camera island design on the rear, housing a "one big, two small" camera setup, with a flash positioned between the two smaller cameras.
