According to pulsestacks, on April 22nd, Huawei's latest Pura 70 series, including the Pura 70 and Pura 70 Pro+ models, will officially go on sale at 10:08 a.m. today, starting at ¥5499.
The Huawei Pura 70 Pro series boasts a fresh design approach, with the Pro+ featuring a light woven grid pattern on the rear shell, available in three color options: Light Weave Silver, String White, and Shadow Black. The device dimensions measure 162.6mm (length) x 75.1mm (width) x 8.4mm (thickness), weighing approximately 220 grams (including the battery), and it supports IP68 dust and water resistance.
The Pura 70 Pro series features a 6.8-inch 2844 × 1260 OLED display, supporting 1-120Hz LTPO adaptive refresh rate, 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, 300Hz touch sampling rate, and a peak brightness of 2500 nits.
The Pura 70 Pro+ boasts a 5050mAh large-capacity battery, supporting 100W wired super-fast charging, 80W wireless super-fast charging (charging half the battery in 15 minutes), and up to 20W reverse charging.
The Huawei Pura 70 Pro series adopts a new generation of Super-Cine main camera, with an F1.4-F4.0 variable aperture, a 1/1.3-inch sensor, and features Super-Cine macro telephoto lens with an F2.1 large aperture and 35x super macro. The Super-Cine imaging system combined with the XD Motion engine effortlessly captures fast-paced moments. Super-Cine macro allows for ultra-close focusing of 5 cm using the telephoto lens, and 35x super macro. With the F2.1 large aperture, it can explore micro wonders even in low light. It supports ultra-clear imaging across the entire focal range, with up to a 200x zoom range. Equipped with the XD Fusion Pro high-quality engine for clear zooming. Supports Super-Cine video, with a high dynamic range for distinct brightness and clear image levels, supported by Super AIS stabilization for steady shots.
The Huawei Pura 70 Pro+ maintains similar basic features to the Pro version while making some key upgrades. The most significant improvement is its screen, which now uses the more robust and durable Xuanwu tempered Kunlun glass, enhancing drop resistance. Additionally, the Huawei Pura 70 Pro+ supports dual-satellite communication, including: Beidou satellite messaging, supporting sending or receiving satellite messages that can be freely edited, and even sending picture messages; and Tongtong satellite communication, allowing for making and receiving satellite calls, and editing satellite messages.
As for the Huawei Pura 70, it differs in design from the other three models. This device features a straight-edge design with a straight screen, equipped with a 6.6-inch straight screen, covered with second-generation Kunlun glass, and a straight-edge middle frame design.
The Huawei Pura 70 features a triple-camera setup on the rear, comprising a 50-megapixel primary camera with a variable aperture ranging from F1.4 to F4.0 and OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with an aperture of F2.2, and a 12-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.
In terms of battery, the Huawei Pura 70 is equipped with a 4900mAh battery, supporting 66W wired fast charging, 50W wireless fast charging, and 7.5W reverse wireless charging.
It's worth noting that the standard version of the Huawei Pura 70 does not support any form of satellite communication technology nor does it have Star Track functionality.
