The blogger @Flanker_017 revealed that native Android apps can no longer be used in the new version. They mentioned, "If there is a lot of local data, such as WeChat chats or note-taking apps, solutions must be provided. Otherwise, even if they can be pulled from the cloud again, the user experience would be too poor."
At the Huawei HarmonyOS Thousand Sails Ceremony held in January this year, Huawei announced the opening of applications for developers for the HarmonyOS NEXT Star River Edition system preview.
According to pulsestacks, Huawei's HarmonyOS NEXT Star River Edition will kick off its developer beta program in Q2 (the second quarter) and release the commercial version in Q4 (the fourth quarter).
Given that there is still some time before the commercial release of HarmonyOS NEXT, it is expected that Huawei will make some improvements in user experience.
