PulseStacks, April 3 - Huawei's FreeLace Pro 2 headphones have been officially announced to kick off pre-orders today (April 3) at 10:08 AM. Available in two color options, Yachu Green and Yadan Black, the prices have not yet been disclosed.
PulseStacks has found that the headphones were previously launched overseas, with the key specifications revealed.
The FreeLace Pro 2 earphones support Huawei's HiPair feature, allowing users to instantly connect and rapidly charge the earphones with their smartphones via a USB-C plug. It's touted to provide "5 hours of listening with just 5 minutes of charging" and offers a maximum battery life of 25 hours. A toggle switch is provided for users to easily power the earphones on or off.
The FreeLace Pro 2 earphones support L2HC and LDAC high-resolution codecs, certified by HWA and Hi-Res Audio Wireless, boasting a transmission speed of up to 990 kbps. Featuring super magnetic drivers, this product delivers a 50% power boost in the mid-low frequency range compared to its predecessor, offering bass as low as 15 Hz.
Additionally, the new model adopts a quad-balanced armature design, purportedly minimizing various types of noise to maximize ANC performance, supporting intelligent active noise cancellation modes. With a five-microphone setup and noise reduction algorithms, the new product also features AI-powered call noise reduction functionality.
The FreeLace Pro 2 supports seamless audio switching between two devices such as smartphones, tablets, PCs, or smartwatches, compatible with iOS, Android, and Windows systems.
