On March 14th, according to information from the Enterprise Check App, Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. has disclosed a patent titled "A Method for Data Synchronization and Related Devices, Systems."

The abstract of the patent on Enterprise Check indicates that the method involves: a first device in a communication system sending water level information to a central device in the communication system when data updates occur.

This water level information indicates the update status of the data, and the central device is responsible for maintaining the water level information for all devices in the communication system.

A second device in the communication system retrieves water level information from the central device when there is a need for data synchronization; the second device then performs data synchronization based on this water level information. s_56533dd88814410d95da2cf9abcc70ae.png Huawei states that this application is based on centralized device water level synchronization, eliminating the need to wake up all other devices within the system every time there is a data update on any device. This approach aims to prevent frequent wake-ups of devices within the system due to data synchronization, reducing the number of times connections need to be established between devices and lowering the power consumption associated with data synchronization.

However, whether this method might result in message reception delays requires practical validation. s_e22c026a76f34a669a90a99731cd88e2.jpg
