In a long-awaited move, Huawei's versatile charger (Max 100W) is finally hitting the shelves, priced at 299 CNY.

Offering a choice between two elegant hues—Sakura Pink and White—it boasts a fusion interface of USB-A/C.

Capable of delivering up to 100W of charging power, it seamlessly supports Huawei's SuperCharge technology, certified through China's Unified Fast Charging Standard (UFCS) protocol.

According to official reports, this charger flaunts impressive charging speeds. For instance, the Huawei nova 12 Pro can juice up to 60% in just 10 minutes; the Mate 60 Pro reaches 98% in 30 minutes, while the Mate X5 hits 86% within the same timeframe. s_c780f344e2f3445e97435600cf128128.png In addition, the Max 100 charger is compatible with various fast charging protocols such as PD, PPS, and QC, suitable for devices running iOS, HarmonyOS, Android, and other operating systems.

However, this charger features a fused port design, allowing users to only insert one USB-A or USB-C cable at a time, without support for dual-port charging simultaneously.

This design has sparked some controversy, but Huawei Terminal BG CTO Li Xiaolong explained that it is aimed at providing users with a better experience.

Li Xiaolong explained, "Users can only choose between A and C ports at the same time, with only one port able to output voltage. To prevent situations where users plug in a cable but there's no voltage output, leading to no charging or mistaken charger malfunction, we adopted a physical interference method, allowing users to only insert one charging cable at a time. This design also reduces the learning curve for users." s_cab83302452042e0b5f527aff8b1b6dc.png
