On April 22nd, it was reported that NVIDIA CEO Huang Renxun recently participated in the "CadenceLIVE Silicon Valley 2024" conference and engaged in a conversation with Cadence's CEO.
During their dialogue, Huang Renxun expressed his belief that humanoid robots will surely become mainstream in the future.
Huang Renxun believes that in the near future, the devices we all will be manufacturing will be humanoid robots, and the manufacturing costs may be much lower than people expect.
"Why can't we purchase a humanoid robot within the price range of 10,000 to 20,000 US dollars, similar to the price of inexpensive cars?" Huang Renxun stated.
Moreover, most environments nowadays are designed for humans. Production lines, warehouses, and a plethora of other things are all designed for humans.
In such an environment, humanoid robots may be more flexible, multifunctional, and ultimately more productive.
Huang Renxun concluded by saying, "I really like this aspect. I am excited about transforming biology into the field of engineering."
