On May 20th, the "2024 Taishan Technology Forum" was held in Jinan, with nearly 600 academicians, experts, and industry elites discussing how technologies such as intelligent robots, advanced manufacturing, and industrial models can support high-quality industrial development.
During the conference, Hu Weiwu, Chairman of Loongson, delivered a keynote speech titled "Breaking the Bottleneck Problem, Constructing a New Development Pattern."
Hu Weiwu stated that against the backdrop of the global electronics industry dominated by the Wintel and AA systems, China aims to establish a third new information technology system and industrial ecosystem independent of x86 and ARM, breaking the bottleneck problem, accelerating the formation of new productive forces, and creating new development advantages.
Hu Weiwu emphasized the importance of leveraging the LoongArch instruction set CPU as a starting point, fully utilizing Loongson's advantages in technology and independent ecosystem, attracting upstream and downstream enterprises in the industrial ecosystem to gather, and speeding up the construction of a new industrial development pattern.
Vice President Du Anli of Loongson Technology also delivered a keynote speech titled "Indigenous Chip Technology · New Quality Industrial IoT Integration Development" at the conference "IT and OT Integration Innovation Forum," expressing clear views on the definition of "new quality" productivity and the core prerequisites for "IoT integration innovation development."
Du Anli pointed out that Loongson has mastered the underlying root technologies of industrial control and digitization. Together with industrial partners, they have connected the core technologies of industrial control such as autonomous instruction CPUs, operating systems, compilers, controllers, industrial protocols, and industrial software to achieve IoT innovation development.
At this conference, Loongson Technology also showcased scenes of autonomous industrial control systems.
