HP Unveils New Gaming Laptop Omen 17: Top Configuration Ryzen 9 8945HS+RTX 4070

On April 19th, HP launched its latest addition to the Omen series gaming laptops — the Omen 17, set to be officially available for purchase on April 24th.

Reportedly, the HP Omen 17 offers the option for the top-tier Ryzen 9 8945HS processor, built on TSMC's 4nm process technology, featuring the Zen4 CPU architecture. It boasts up to 8 cores and 16 threads, with a boost frequency of up to 5.2GHz, 8MB of L2 cache, and 16MB of L3 cache. s_527f2b7808d2494480e00397a4a995c1.png The graphics card option includes the RTX 4070 with 8GB of GDDR6 memory, capable of up to 140W power consumption, supporting the latest ray tracing and DLSS 3.5 technologies. This delivers higher game frame rates and greater AI performance for creative tasks.

For the display, the HP Omen 17 offers two choices: a Full HD IPS panel with a variable refresh rate of 48Hz to 144Hz, covering 100% of the sRGB color gamut and reaching 300 nits of brightness.
