Pulsestacks reported on April 24th that starting today, the MagicBook Pro 16 HUNTER Edition by Honor will gradually receive an AI-powered high-performance silent mode, offering a balance between silence and high performance.
According to tests by Geekerwan, in this mode, power consumption decreases from 140W to 100W, with CPU and GPU performance dropping by around 9% and 10% respectively compared to full-power mode, and noise levels reducing from 50dB to 37dB.
The Al high-performance silent mode is only available for the Honor MagicBook Pro 16 equipped with the RTX4060 dedicated graphics card. Users can update and activate it by following these steps:
- Open PC Manager - Settings - Check for updates, upgrade software version to 18.0.0.63 (C233HONORSP10)
- Open PC Manager - System Optimization - Driver Management - Check for updates, upgrade BIOS to 1.09
- Open PC Manager - Performance Management, select HONOR HUNTER mode - customize fan speed, choose "Silent Performance"
According to pulsestacks, the Honor MagicBook Pro 16 features a meteor waistline design, offering two new color options: Cloud Blue and Starry Night. It also comes with a new structure and 3D colorful spray painting process, weighing 1.79kg.
