On March 13th, Honor announced that the Honor MagicBook Pro 16 will debut with OS Turbo 3.0, achieving a 30% reduction in power consumption and a 10% performance boost.

OS Turbo is Honor's self-developed system-level performance and power optimization engine. It is based on Honor's in-depth understanding of chip technology, Windows system, applications and drivers, BIOS firmware, and other related technologies. It leverages both hardware and software capabilities to delve into the PC firmware layer, system layer, and application layer for optimal performance. s_0f364a024b0f422d9095267cfa3ecc09.jpg By integrating the core algorithms and capabilities of Honor, optimizing the underlying processes of both CPU and GPU, and combining it with the intelligent scene recognition of the HONOR Magic Live engine, we achieve a more efficient and intelligent hardware performance release.

In simpler terms, the OS Turbo technology at the product level enables better performance and lower power consumption in the same scenarios.

According to reports, the OS Turbo technology, combined with the HONOR Magic Live engine, can accurately identify user usage scenarios. Once these scenarios are identified, OS Turbo will segment specific tasks and proactively optimize the system background as well as the underlying processes of the CPU and GPU. This optimization aims to fully exploit the processor's performance while significantly reducing power consumption.

Officials stated that the Honor platform-level AI empowers intelligent hardware, effectively addressing the core pain points of PC users who cannot simultaneously meet the demands for battery life, performance, and portability, thereby eliminating the need for consumers to make trade-offs. s_4edd778bb3d7429e8ba9f688179da4a3.jpg
