On April 8th, it was reported that Runto Technology released a report titled "Competition between OLED and Mini LED in the High-End TV Market."

The report predicts that in 2024, Mini LED TVs will surpass OLED TVs for the first time.

Among various high-end display technologies, Mini LED technology stands out, with its shipments steadily increasing. In 2023, Mini LED TV shipments reached 4.25 million units, marking a year-on-year growth of 24.7%.

It is expected that the growth of Mini LED TVs will further expand in 2024, reaching 6.59 million units, and surpassing 10 million units by 2025.

On the other hand, OLED TV shipments in the global market totaled 5.48 million units in 2023, representing a significant decline of 20.6% compared to 2022.

It is projected that in 2024, global OLED TV shipments will reach 6.4 million units, with a year-on-year growth of 17%. This forecast indicates that OLED TV shipments will be surpassed by Mini LED for the first time.

OLED TVs are priced higher than Mini LED TVs. Taking a 65-inch product as an example, the average price of a 65-inch OLED TV is approximately 1400 CNY higher than that of a Mini LED TV. Consumers tend to choose Mini LED technology for its comparable performance and cost-effectiveness when selecting products. ?url=http%3A%2F%2Fdingyue.ws.126.net%2F2024%2F0408%2Ff50ddf77j00sbm1te000zd000go00b4g.jpg&thumbnail=660x2147483647&quality=80&type=jpg
