He Xiaopeng stated in a video released today that their vehicles are priced uniformly internally. In order to sell the car to Li Bin at a "fracture" price, he decided to personally subsidize half of the vehicle's cost, selling it at fifty percent off. Li Bin has expressed his intention to provide He Xiaopeng with a test drive report.
It's been reported that in December last year, Li Bin personally drove to test NIO's "150-degree battery pack," challenging a 1000-kilometer self-driving livestream, and connected with Xiaopeng Motors Chairman He Xiaopeng.
During the livestream, he called out He Xiaopeng, saying that after the release of the Xiaopeng X9, he would buy one to support Xiaopeng, but at a "rock-bottom price."
In a recent livestream, Li Bin once again called out to He Xiaopeng, hoping for a rock-bottom price to buy the Xiaopeng X9.
And today, the China Electric Vehicle Hundred People Conference opened in Beijing, where Li Bin and He Xiaopeng met at the venue and sat together. Li Bin took the opportunity to ask He Xiaopeng to honor the "rock-bottom price" commitment.
He Xiaopeng readily agreed to honor the commitment, personally deciding to subsidize half of the car price, giving Li Bin a 50% "friendship price."
It's reported that the price range of the Xiaopeng X9 is 359,800 to 419,800 CNY. With a 50% discount, buying the top configuration is the most cost-effective, and it's expected that He Xiaopeng will subsidize over 200,000 CNY.
