Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe responded to J.K. Rowling's ongoing views on transgender individuals in an interview with The Atlantic, saying, "Ultimately, it makes me sad."

"Because I'm just watching someone that I have admired for so long become someone that I'm afraid of, and I'm sad about that," Radcliffe said.

At the same time, Radcliffe also addressed criticisms labeling his response as "ungrateful." s_81f6ad0a97bc458ba7347faf299f8446.png In an interview, he said, "Clearly, without her, there would be no Harry Potter, and without this character, my life path might have been very different. But that doesn't mean you have to credit everything you believe in to others."

Recently, J.K. Rowling stated that she will not forgive actors like Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson for "using their fame to support transgender issues."

On her own account, J.K. Rowling posted a series of tweets about the research of pediatrician Hilary Cass, whose work led to the UK banning the prescription of puberty blockers to children and adolescents, as well as to those seeking gender transition.

A commenter in the online discussion wrote, "We look forward to Dan and Emma publicly apologizing to you. I believe you will forgive them."

J.K. Rowling replied, "I'm afraid not. Apologies can be left for those who have been traumatized and regret their gender transition, and for women who have had their hard-won rights taken away by those who support the transgender movement for minors using their platforms."
