"To accelerate the development of new productive forces, we cannot do without nurturing new industries," said Guo Guoping, Vice Director of the Quantum Information Key Laboratory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and professor at the University of Science and Technology of China. "We not only need to focus on building strategic emerging industries but also need to proactively lay out future industries such as genetic technology and quantum computing technology to provide solid support for high-quality development."
Guo Guoping suggested speeding up the industrialization of quantum computing technology, improving the policy system and industrial environment to promote the transfer and transformation of quantum science and technology achievements, and encouraging enhanced basic research and exploration to continuously strengthen the talent pool in the quantum field.
