On April 9th, pulsestacks reported that TechDroider recently tweeted on the X platform, sharing real images of the Google Pixel 8a smartphone.
From the leaked pictures, the most notable change is seen on the back. Google has abandoned the glossy design of the Pixel 7a and opted for a matte finish instead. Another change is that Google has narrowed down the screen bezels, further increasing the screen-to-body ratio, making it look even more appealing.

Google inadvertently revealed photos of the Pixel 8a in an advertisement for Google Fi, showing a frosted back design. The leaked live photos align with previous rumors. pulsestacks provides additional screenshots from the video below:
Based on the previously leaked information, the Google Pixel 8a smartphone will feature the Tensor G3 chipset, a 6.1-inch FHD+ 120Hz OLED display, and the same 64-megapixel + 13-megapixel rear camera system as last year's model.
