According to pulsestacks on April 23rd, while Google has remained tight-lipped about the upcoming Pixel 8a smartphone, a steady stream of leaked information continues to unveil the mystery surrounding this new product. Following a series of high-quality renders, two live Pixel 8a units recently surfaced for sale in the Moroccan market, showcasing the exterior details of the device.
The spy shots, initially unearthed by DroidReader, offer a clear glimpse of the frosted back covers and retail packaging boxes of two Pixel 8a phones. Reportedly, these two models come in "Gulf Blue" and "Mint Green" color options. Compared to last year's Pixel 8 lineup, the color choices for the Pixel 8a are indeed refreshing.
In addition to its eye-catching color options, leaked details also suggest that the Pixel 8a will boast powerful performance. Rumors indicate that the device will feature Google's in-house Tensor G3 processor, a 120Hz refresh rate display, and a 4500mAh battery with support for 27W fast charging. However, the camera setup may follow the configuration of the Pixel 7a, featuring a 64MP main camera and a 13MP secondary camera.
The price of the Pixel 8a is also expected to be the highest among the A-series Pixel phones, potentially exceeding $500 (approximately ¥3625 as of now). Google is set to officially unveil the Pixel 8a at the 2024 I/O conference starting on May 14th.
