Recently, there have been reports that Google is preparing to launch a Pixel tablet, which will not come with a charging speaker base and its price has also been exposed.
It is reported that the pricing of this new tablet will be lower than similar products and docking station combo sets currently available on the market. In the Eurozone market, listings from an anonymous retailer show that the 128GB version is priced at 446 euros, while the 256GB version is priced at 553 euros. In comparison, the current bundled packages with docking stations of the same storage capacity are priced at 679 euros and 779 euros respectively, highlighting the price advantage of the new product.
It is worth noting that the leaked pricing information above may not include value-added tax, and there are significant differences in value-added tax rates across EU countries. Taking Germany as an example, adding a 19% value-added tax would adjust the final price of the 128GB model to 529 euros and the 256GB model to 659 euros. Nevertheless, for users who do not need the docking station functionality, such prices remain highly attractive, increasing anticipation for the official release.
Furthermore, the inventory of the same anonymous retailer also includes the rumored Bluetooth keyboard accessory. Priced at 89 euros in the inventory system, it is uncertain if this is the final retail price. Assuming no value-added tax, based on the German tax rate, the keyboard's final selling price should be 105 euros. As for the equally anticipated stylus accessory, although it is not currently listed, leaked information from yesterday suggests that its price will be the same as the keyboard.
