On May 27th, Intel is set to launch the next generation high-performance processor Arrow Lake, also known as the 2nd Gen Core Ultra, with accompanying motherboards upgrading to the 800 series featuring the new LGA1851 interface. The upcoming Taipei Computer Show will likely be the perfect opportunity for an early preview.
Originally planned for the 800 series motherboards with LGA1851 interface, Meteor Lake unfortunately fell short in performance and was canceled for desktop use, being relegated to thin and light laptops.
The flagship model for the 800 series motherboards is undoubtedly the Z890, with various manufacturers gearing up for its release. Gigabyte has taken the lead by teasing their new board, albeit in a very subtle manner.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of Gigabyte's high-end brand AORUS, and they have released a silhouette of a new board in black, with the caption "Coming Soon."
Comparatively, it bears a striking resemblance in terms of edge design to the current Z790 AORUS XTREME.
There have been recent reports suggesting that Gigabyte AORUS is working on a new AI TOP series motherboard, emphasizing top-tier AI. This new board is expected to be named "Z890 AORUS XTREME AI TOP."

Z890 AORUS XTREME AI TOP
