German luxury brands are stepping up their game! BMW launches trade-in policy covering 19 models

On April 30th, according to reports, from now until June 30, 2024, current BMW/MINI owners purchasing specified BMW models can enjoy up to 18,000 yuan in insurance and purchase tax benefits, or choose a 0 down payment, 0 interest rate financing plan;

Non-BMW/MINI owners buying eligible models can receive up to 6,000 yuan in insurance benefits.

Specifically, the models covered by this policy include the 2 Series, 3 Series, 4 Series, 5 Series, 6 Series, X1, X2, X3, X4, X5, X6, and Z4.

BMW pure electric models eligible for the national trade-in policy include the i3, i4, i5, i7, iX1, iX3, and iX.

However, please note that according to the detailed rules for the implementation of the subsidy for trading in old cars and buying new cars issued by seven departments including the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Finance, the applicable BMW models do not include the BMW 7 Series, BMW 8 Series, BMW X7, BMW M models (except for the X2 M35i), BMW X5 40Li, BMW X6 40i, etc.

According to previously released sales data, in March 2024, the BMW 3 Series was the best-selling sedan, with sales of 12,924 units, more than 7,000 units higher than the competing Mercedes-Benz C-Class.

In the SUV market, the BMW X3 was the best-selling model, with sales of 10,119 units, nearly 9,000 units more than the competing Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class and nearly 6,000 units more than the Audi Q5L.
