On April 19th, Geely held the launch event for the highly anticipated Geely 009 Premier.
During the event, Geely introduced its groundbreaking adaptive airbags, a first in the automotive industry. Traditional second-row seats in MPVs pose a safety risk when passengers recline them during travel, as seat belts may fail to fully restrain occupants in the event of a collision.
Geely's 009 Premier, however, addresses this concern with its innovative adaptive airbags integrated into the lower portion of the seats. These airbags deploy instantly in the event of an accident, lifting and securely immobilizing passengers' legs to ensure maximum safety and restraint.
Meanwhile, the second-row seats of the MPV can also move back and forth. Traditional head airbags struggle to protect passengers in the shifted position. Therefore, Jike Krypton has designed head airbags on both sides of the second-row seats to provide integrated protection for the heads and chests of second-row passengers.
Official sources indicate that, bolstered by the world-first "integral die-cast C-ring seats and adaptive airbags," the Jike Krypton 009 Glory Edition boasts the world's safest second row.
