On April 22, numerous users reported that their Galaxy S21/S22 series smartphones displayed green lines on the screen following a system update.
According to international reports, Samsung India has decided to offer free screen replacements to Galaxy S21/S22 users facing this issue.
According to insiders, there are two possible causes for the issue. One is a hardware defect in Samsung screens.
The other possibility is overheating during phone updates, leading to the detachment of solder joints between the cables and the screen.
It's worth noting that this issue is particularly severe in the Indian market.
The phones sold in India are manufactured in Samsung's factories there, where quality control issues may exist.
Furthermore, India is also a very hot country, with current temperatures reaching around 40°C. Coupled with the inherent heat generated by the phone's system, this can put additional pressure on internal components.
These two factors align well with the speculated reasons behind the screen green line issue.
