Ahead of the official launch of the Xiaomi SU7, Xiaomi has also arranged a preview test drive event for alumni of Wuhan University, held at Xiaomi's Wuhan headquarters.

It's worth mentioning that on March 20th, the Xiaomi SU7 in the Aurora Purple version made its debut on the campus of Wuhan University. In the photos, the SU7 was framed alongside cherry blossoms, emitting a romantic vibe. Some netizens even exclaimed "as beautiful as a painting" upon seeing it.
Lei Jun stated that Xiaguang Purple is a metallic paint with a rich color palette, and it will be released prior to the launch event.
Some might wonder why there was a pre-launch test drive event organized specifically for Wuhan University alumni, with the SU7 even being driven onto the campus grounds.
It turns out that Lei Jun, the founder of Xiaomi, is an outstanding alumnus of Wuhan University. He enrolled in the Computer Science Department in 1987 and was a top student during his time there, completing the total credit requirements for a four-year degree in just two years.
It's likely Lei Jun's deep emotional connection to his alma mater that led him to prioritize giving alumni the opportunity for an early test drive of the Xiaomi SU7.
