Is this translucent handbag truly practical for carrying essentials?
The French fashion house, Coperni, has recently unveiled a handbag that’s generating buzz for its striking resemblance to a semi-transparent toilet seat. However, don’t let its appearance fool you—the bag weighs a mere 33 grams, which is less than the weight of a single egg.
What makes it so lightweight, you may ask? Well, it’s crafted from NASA's aerogel, a material with an incredibly low density and known as the lightest solid material on Earth. Remarkably, this substance can withstand extreme temperatures and pressures up to four thousand times its weight.
Coperni's latest creation marks the largest object made with this innovative material to date. With its cloud-like appearance and seemingly ethereal interior, it appears spacious enough to accommodate essentials like a smartphone.
Interestingly, this isn’t Coperni’s first foray into unconventional designs. Previously, they introduced a meteorite bag crafted from a meteorite dating back fifty thousand years, fetching a staggering $45,000. Weighing approximately two kilograms, it doubles as a workout accessory—a fashionable statement piece indeed. Are you tempted?
