Tue, Apr 30 2024 08:13 PM EST

Reported by Tech Innovation Daily on the 22nd, Rayton, a subsidiary of Foxconn, has secured new orders from Apple. For the iPhone 16 series, Apple will eliminate physical buttons such as the volume and power keys, which have been in use for many years. This change necessitates at least two system-in-package (SiP) modules to integrate capacitive touch buttons and components like the Taptic Engine motor at the system level. Rayton has exclusively obtained the large orders for these system-level SiP modules. (Source: Taiwan Economic Daily)
