A video surfaced showing a Xiaomi SU7 parked at the Panyu delivery center submerged in water, sparking attention from netizens. Concerns were raised among some netizens that this might be the first reported case of a Xiaomi SU7 being soaked in floodwaters.
However, according to subsequent images and explanations provided by the users present, the Xiaomi SU7 did not actually get submerged. Despite the video showing the water level reaching nearly one-third of the wheel's height, almost level with the chassis, the vehicle remained undamaged, with its paint intact and no signs of water entering the interior. It's reported that a sudden downpour caused the water level to rise rapidly, but the product experience officer quickly relocated the Xiaomi SU7 to a safe area, preventing further damage.
