On April 17th, according to an announcement from the official WeChat account of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation, the Long March 2D rocket lifted off from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, successfully placing the Siwei High-Spectral-Resolution Imaging Satellite 01 into its intended orbit, marking a perfect success for the launch mission.

The four-dimensional wide-field focal plane electronic component developed independently by China Electronics Technology Group Corporation has successfully booted up and transmitted its first image. The image quality is outstanding, displaying clear imagery, rich layers, and accurate colors. This significant breakthrough signifies China's important progress in the application of nine-spectrum Time-Delay Integration Charge-Coupled Device (TDICCD) products.

It is reported that the four-dimensional wide-field focal plane electronic component is China's first applied nine-spectrum TDICCD product, possessing a series of unique advantages. Its high transmission characteristics ensure the accurate transmission of image information, while the large dynamic range enables the component to maintain excellent performance under different lighting conditions. Additionally, its strong anti-glare feature effectively prevents image distortion caused by strong light interference.

In addition to the common panchromatic, red, green, blue, and near-infrared bands, this imaging component adds four additional bands: coastal aerosol, yellow, red edge, totaling nine bands. This multi-band design enables the satellite to achieve a high resolution of 0.5 meters and a wide imaging capability of over 130 kilometers. This breakthrough technological advancement provides strong support for China's applications in areas such as national resource surveys, urban management, environmental protection, and disaster prevention and mitigation.

As the satellite operates in orbit, the four-dimensional wide-field focal plane electronic component will fully utilize its high-resolution wide-field imaging capabilities to acquire high-quality image data. These data will serve various quantitative applications such as cloud and fog removal, land classification, and vegetation detection, providing important data support for China's applications in various fields.

The successful development of this electronic component by China Electronics Technology Group Corporation not only demonstrates China's strong research and development capabilities in the field of electronic components but also lays a solid foundation for the future development of satellite remote sensing technology in China. In the future, with continuous technological progress and expansion of application areas, the four-dimensional wide-field focal plane electronic component is expected to play a greater role in China's applications in more fields. s_0e419e9351d2474bb75f0acfdd8e9ebe.jpg
