The beloved Kangshifu 1L tea drink series, known for its large volume and low price, is bidding farewell to the "4 Yuan era."

On April 6th, in numerous convenience stores and small supermarkets, various degrees of price hikes were observed. It's now rare to find Kangshifu 1L tea drink products priced at 4 Yuan, with most being set at 4.5-5 Yuan.

At Da Run Fa, the price range for Kangshifu 1L tea drinks is between 4.3-5 Yuan, with the 1L Ice Tea priced at 4.3 Yuan. Meanwhile, at Wu Mart, the Kangshifu 1L tea drinks are priced between 5-5.4 Yuan, with the 1L Ice Tea at 5 Yuan.

According to Red Star News, "You see, it's written 'suggested retail price 5.0 Yuan' on the bottle now, which wasn't there before," said Mr. Wang (alias), a community convenience store worker, pointing at the 1L Ice Tea, "The manufacturer raised the price about a month ago."

Ms. Liu, who runs a community small supermarket, also mentioned that their supplier notified them last year about the upcoming price increase for Kangshifu 1L Ice Tea. On March 1st this year, the manufacturer officially raised the price from 36 Yuan per box (containing 12 bottles) to 42 Yuan per box. Some deliveries even added an extra 2 Yuan, making the purchase price 44 Yuan per box. According to Ms. Liu, the purchase price for one bottle of Kangshifu 1L Ice Tea increased from 3 Yuan to 3.6 Yuan, representing a 20% hike.

In another small supermarket, the 1L Ice Tea is already marked at 5 Yuan. Ms. Tai (alias), an employee there, mentioned that their purchase price increased twice. Last year, it went up by 30 cents, and this time, it increased by 50 cents.

It's worth noting that while several retailers stated that the manufacturer has raised prices, many are still undecided on whether to increase the prices of Kangshifu 1L tea drinks and by how much. Mr. Wang stated that their store hasn't increased prices yet and still sells them for 4.5 Yuan because they are afraid consumers won't accept it.

According to Ms. Liu, both the convenience store and supermarket in her neighborhood initially raised the price of Kangshifu 1L Ice Tea to 5 Yuan, but due to "significant customer reactions," they reverted back to 4.5 Yuan.

Ms. Liu mentioned that after the price increased to 4.5 Yuan, there was still some impact on the sales of this series. Some consumers, aware of the price hike, chose not to buy it anymore and switched to other brands in the same category. s_dd418e2737874040b7682bb3838ed0e1.jpg
