Tonight, on March 15th, CCTV's 315 Exposé revealed the "Tinghua" liquor under scrutiny as a part of "high-end business white liquor".
Reportedly, the Tinghua liquor is priced at "standard edition selling for 5,860 CNY, and the premium edition for a whopping 58,600 CNY!" The exorbitant prices are startling.
This particular liquor claims to possess various health benefits such as boosting immunity, improving sleep, ensuring male erectile function, regulating physiological disorders, and combating aging.
After being exposed, the so-called "international patent" mentioned by Yibin Tinghua Liquor is not some high-tech substance, but just common peppermint extract.
According to data from the Qichacha app, Yibin Tinghua Liquor Industry Development Co., Ltd. was established in December 2012, with Li Rongquan as its legal representative and a registered capital of 14.7 million RMB.
It's worth noting that this company has been involved in multiple judicial cases and has been sued by companies like Luzhou Laojiao and Guizhou Maotai.
The company has registered over 300 trademarks, including "Tinghua" and "Sauce Fragrance PLUS." However, it's notable that they only have information on 20 patents, most of which are for appearance designs.
