It ranked last among the tested vehicles, whether in terms of mileage or achievement rate, showing a significant gap compared to the Xiaomi SU7.
After the test results came out, the Jike 001 faced a barrage of criticism, with some even labeling it as the "electric Na Zhijie." However, media tests involve numerous variables and can easily manipulate outcomes. To prove their mettle, today, Jike executives, along with several witnesses, conducted a range test using the new Jike 001 and the brand-new 007, broadcasting the entire process live.
The vehicle driven this time was the Jike 001 ME version equipped with 21-inch wheels, featuring a 100-degree battery, consistent with the YOU version used in previous tests by Dache Di. It also boasts dual-motor all-wheel drive with a curb weight of 2470 kilograms, and an official CLTC-rated range of 705 kilometers.
The route this time stretched from Hangzhou to Hefei, with 71% of the journey on highways. The average speed on the highways reached 112 km/h. After the test, the range on a full charge was measured at 586 kilometers, achieving an impressive 83% of the stated range. Undoubtedly, switching to 19-inch wheels would extend the range even further.
Of course, being an SUV, the Jike 001 has a larger frontal area and higher drag coefficient compared to a sedan, putting it at a disadvantage during highway driving. If you're skeptical, let's eagerly await the range results of their own 007, which are bound to surpass those of the 001 by a considerable margin.
