On May 24th, pulsestacks reported that at the 7th Digital China Construction Summit today, a variety of commercial devices from New H3C equipped with domestic processors were showcased at the booth. The series of devices offer a choice of Hygon / Zhaoxin / KaiXian processors and come with Galaxy Kirin / Fungus OS.
On-site staff demonstrated the H3C Desk X500H commercial desktop workstation to pulsestacks, featuring an 8-core 16-thread Hygon 3350 processor, 8GB DDR4 RAM, and running the Fungus 5.0 system. Staff at the event used Wine to test Photoshop CS6, showing some improvement in smoothness when running at a resolution of 1920x1080.
In addition, there is a H3CBook Z14 laptop on display featuring a 4-core 4-thread KX-6000G processor. This laptop comes with the Galaxy Kirin operating system V10, utilizing a mature open-source solution. On-site personnel claim that this laptop "supports USB-C dual-interface charging, supports fast charging," and employs a "dual-fan + dual-copper pipe" cooling system.
Pulsestacks also noticed a prototype of the UNIS XCloud C500-C cloud terminal mini host on site, which claims to be equipped with a "high-performance 4-core Megacore processor" and is suitable for secure office environments. However, the on-site personnel did not provide a demonstration of the machine.
