The T705 PCIe 5.0 SSD, an upgrade from the previous T700 series, features Micron's proprietary 232-layer TLC NAND flash memory. It achieves maximum sequential read and write speeds of 14500 MB/s and 12700 MB/s, respectively. Additionally, it delivers exceptional 4K random read/write speeds of 1550K IOPS and 1800K IOPS, while offering a 5-year limited warranty.
In terms of compatibility, this SSD is compatible with Intel's 13th and 14th generation Core CPUs and AMD's Ryzen 7000 series, offering backward compatibility with PCle 3.0 and 4.0 systems for flexible pairing options.
There's word out there suggesting that the latest SSD models might be equipped with Phison's newest E26 Max14um controller chip, an upgraded version of the E26. This fresh controller chip, unveiled at CES 2024 back in January, boasts firmware optimizations aimed at reducing power consumption while enhancing speed.
