On May 20th, it was announced that the results of the centralized procurement project for 2024-2025 science and technology office PC terminals of a domestic joint-stock bank have been revealed. The desktop terminal with a large share was awarded based on the Zhaoxin KX-7000 series processor.
This is the first bid since the release of the KX-7000 processor terminal, and it won a significant share right from the start, demonstrating the excellence of the Zhaoxin platform in creating innovative terminals. It also reflects the financial industry's recognition of the performance, experience, and reliability of the KX-7000 processor.
The winning models in this bid include two desktop terminals, one of which is the Lenovo ThinkCentre P90z G1t desktop.
Powered by the Zhaoxin KaiXian KX-7000 series processor, paired with 16GB DDR4 memory, 512GB NVMe SSD, supporting dual 4K ultra-high-definition videos, optional discrete graphics card, and a brand-new high-end chassis with abundant expansion ports, optional smart electronic lock.
The second product is the Tongfang SuperX TZ830-V3 desktop computer.
It is equipped with the Megachips KX-7000 processor platform with an eight-core 3.6GHz frequency. The sleek design offers multiple USB ports, as well as serial and parallel ports, meeting traditional office needs while ensuring security, compatibility, and external device support.
Additionally, the Tongfang SuperSharp Z67 laptop, based on the Megachips KX-U6780A eight-core processor, has also been awarded the bid.
This 14-inch laptop is compatible with a wide range of applications and peripherals, capable of handling graphic and image processing tasks. The entire system has passed multiple national mandatory certifications, with an average fault-free operating time exceeding 100,000 hours.
The KX-7000 series processor, independently developed by Zhaoxin, is a new generation high-performance general-purpose processor. It features the innovative "Century Avenue" autonomous microarchitecture, advanced Chiplet interconnect architecture, with a maximum frequency of 3.7GHz, 32MB high-speed cache, support for up to 128GB DDR5/DDR4 memory, built-in 24-channel PCIe 4.0, compatibility with mainstream interfaces such as USB4/USB3, SATA3, integrated high-performance GPU supporting DX12, OpenCL 1.2, OpenGL 4.6, and dual 4K hardware decoding.
Compatible with x86 instruction set, it supports Zhaoxin's independently developed SM2, SM3, SM4 national encryption algorithm acceleration instructions, and processor and IO virtualization technology.
Officially claimed to have computing performance and graphics performance of the KX-7000 processor are twice and four times that of the previous generation products, respectively.
