[CNMO Tech News] Beyond its renowned expertise in image testing, DXOMARK frequently evaluates other smartphone components such as screens and batteries. Recently, CNMO took note that DXOMARK has released the battery endurance test score for the Xiaomi 14: scoring a total of 133 points in DXOMARK's battery test, it ranks second in the high-end model category. In testing, the Xiaomi 14 demonstrated a solid battery usage experience. Compared to its predecessor, the device has seen improvements in both charging performance and efficiency.
Based on rigorous testing, the Xiaomi 14 has demonstrated exceptional battery life performance that exceeds the norm. In medium intensity usage scenarios, the device can sustain over 53 hours of continuous operation. Its fast charging technology is equally impressive, with both wired and wireless charging methods proving to be highly efficient. The Xiaomi 14 is equipped with up to 80W of wired fast charging technology, capable of fully charging its 4610mAh large-capacity battery in just under 40 minutes. Wireless charging is even more remarkable, requiring only about 53 minutes to complete the process. This achievement places it at the forefront among the multitude of devices tested on the market today.
Notably, the Xiaomi 14 also features an efficient emergency fast charging capability, needing only 5 minutes of charging to support 8 hours and 12 minutes of normal usage time. Compared to its predecessor, this rapid replenishment ability has increased by nearly 3 hours, significantly enhancing the convenience experience for users.
While the Xiaomi 14 exhibits moderate battery consumption in regular use cases, especially in low-power applications such as playing music over a 4G network, it demonstrates excellent energy control and optimization. However, its endurance tends to falter in outdoor scenarios, particularly with frequent use of social media applications. Moreover, there are instances where the battery level display of the Xiaomi 14 may be somewhat inaccurate.
