On May 23, Dongsoft Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Fujian Big Data Group Limited in Fuzhou. The two parties will collaborate in the field of healthcare data element value, empowering the product design and insurance core of commercial insurance companies through big data services, to create a new model of "Data Elements x Healthcare" services. This year, the National Bureau of Statistics and 17 other departments jointly issued the "Data Elements x" Three-Year Action Plan (2024-2026), proposing to leverage the amplification, superposition, and multiplication effects of data elements to build a digital economy with data as a key element, which is an inevitable requirement for promoting high-quality development. Healthcare, as an important industry related to the national economy and people's livelihood, is listed as a key industry in the pilot actions of the three-year action plan.
In this cooperation, based on the overall requirements of the three-year action plan "Data Elements x Healthcare," the two parties will rely on the public data resource development service platform operated by Fujian Big Data Group to build innovative insurance risk control services, creating the new model of "Data Elements x Healthcare" services.
This model is based on data quality, with data security as a prerequisite, institutional norms as a guarantee, and the goal of effective data utilization. It deeply integrates Fujian's regional healthcare big data with commercial insurance, breaking the traditional model of "claiming after treatment," providing pre-claim services, optimizing payment experiences, and reducing customer pressure on seeking medical treatment.
Simultaneously, it effectively eliminates disputes in the insurance claims process, helping insurance companies more accurately assess the insured's health status and risk level, thereby further enhancing the level of insurance services and market competitiveness, better safeguarding the rights and interests of both insurance companies and customers, and promoting the coordinated development of basic medical insurance and commercial health insurance.
In the future, the two parties will further promote the accelerated implementation of the "Data Elements x" Three-Year Action Plan (2024-2026) and relevant policy documents in Fujian Province, deeply explore the value of public data, focus on promoting the social use of public data, create more exemplary, high-profile, and widely influential typical application scenarios, empower the reform of Fujian Province's digital government, and create a new high-quality development situation.
