On May 11th, Geek+ Automotive released data showing that in April, the new Geek+ 001 model sold 11,729 units, making it the champion in the pure electric vehicle category priced above 250,000 RMB.

Launched at the end of February, this model offers four variants priced between 269,000 and 329,000 RMB. Not only is it competitively priced, but it also boasts comprehensive upgrades, addressing previous shortcomings. As a result, it has been well-received, with over 30,000 pre-orders within the first month of its release.

Compared to its predecessor, the new Geek+ 001 features 118 upgrades, drawing inspiration from the Geek+ 001 FR design. The front bumper now sports a triangular design, with larger air intake slots on the sides, giving the front end a more aggressive look.

The interior has also been completely revamped, featuring a curved dashboard and a new 35.5-inch AR-HUD head-up display. The central touchscreen is a 15.05-inch 2.5K OLED display, running on the 8295 chip and the latest ZEEKR OS 6.0 system.

In terms of features, the vehicle comes standard with a 28-speaker Yamaha audio system and includes a 5D cinema mode. The mid-to-high-end models feature a dual-chamber air suspension, while the lower-end models offer it as an option.

A significant highlight is the adoption of an 800V high-voltage system across all models, with a choice of 95kWh or 100kWh batteries, providing ranges of 675km and 750km under CLTC conditions, respectively.

The new model supports ultra-fast charging, with the former using the latest Shenxing battery from CATL, charging from 10% to 80% in just 11.5 minutes, and the latter utilizing the Kirin battery, taking 15 minutes for the same charge level.

In terms of power, the single-motor version delivers a maximum power of 310 kW, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds. The dual-motor system boasts a combined power of 580 kW, achieving 0-100 km/h acceleration in just 3.3 seconds. s_5b7ffbb6904644029af3c3674ec51aa2.jpg
