April 3rd, Beijing - Red Flag, the emblematic Chinese luxury car brand, has recently unveiled the official images of the 2024 edition of its H9 model. The new vehicle features adjustments to its exterior details and offers three different engine options.

Continuing its tradition of dignified elegance, the latest iteration of the Red Flag H9 showcases refined exterior styling. The front end boasts a redesigned arrow-feather style LED daytime running lights, enhancing its technological allure. It largely maintains consistency with the current model, featuring a sleek and smooth profile. The side profile is elongated, with flowing lines, accentuated by red decorative stripes on the front fenders. Additionally, a variety of new wheel designs will be offered to complement the overall aesthetic. However, the lower bumper has been redesigned, and the dual exhaust pipes on both sides are partitioned, creating a visual effect of dual exhausts on each side.

Official interior photos of the car have not been released yet, but it is expected to mirror the current model, following a luxurious, dignified, steady, and imposing design direction. The base model will feature a 1.8T engine with a maximum power of 165 kW/224 horsepower. The mid-range model will have a 2.5T V6 engine with a maximum power of 223 kW/303 horsepower.

The top-of-the-line model will continue to use a 3.0T engine, with a maximum power of 248 kW/337 horsepower, a significant increase compared to the current 3.0T (208 kW/283 horsepower). It's expected that all models will be paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Additionally, Hongqi has applied for a 2.0T engine, which might hint at the possibility of introducing a 2.0T version in the future. However, specific details about this engine are currently unknown, and it's not ruled out that it could be for a hybrid version.
