Domestic Large Aircraft Fully Replace Boeing and Airbus: C919 Orders Exceed 1,000, with Three Major Airlines Ordering 300

On April 30th, according to COMAC, the number of C919 orders has exceeded 1,000.

China Eastern Airlines has signed an agreement with COMAC to increase their C919 aircraft orders by 100, planning to raise the total to 10 aircraft this year.

Air China also announced that they have ordered 100 C919 aircraft from COMAC. The latest announcement from China Southern Airlines reveals that the three major state-owned airlines have collectively ordered over 300 C919 aircraft.

In addition to the three major state-owned airlines, Hainan Airlines Group has also signed an order for 60 C919 aircraft with COMAC.

Among these, 30 aircraft will be received by Joy Air under Hainan Airlines, while the other 30 are planned to be received by Urumqi Air under Hainan Airlines.

COMAC Chairman He Dongfeng had disclosed as early as September 2023 that the number of C919 orders had reached 1,061.
