On March 8th, in celebration of International Women's Day, Didi organized Women's Day team-building events in cities such as Nanjing, Shenzhen, Shanghai, and Changsha. The company even extended invitations to outstanding female driver representatives from across the nation to attend an event in Beijing.
According to official sources, as of now, Didi has hosted 422 team-building events specifically for female drivers, reaching out to over 20,000 Didi female drivers.
It's worth noting that Didi has also released the "2024 Didi Digital Travel Women's Ecological Report."
Throughout the year 2023, over a million female drivers and delivery partners globally earned income through the Didi platform. This includes more than 600,000 female drivers in China, with 82% citing flexible schedules as the reason for joining Didi.
Research data indicates that 56% of Didi's female drivers have made new female driver friends through their driving experiences. Additionally, 48% have shared mutual assistance while on the road, and a remarkable 84% are willing to recommend Didi to their female friends.
Furthermore, 40% of female drivers are capable of changing their car tires independently, and 56% maintain a clean driving record throughout the year. This challenges the stereotypical negative perception associated with "female drivers" in our daily lives, and it's hoped that everyone can avoid harboring biases.
