Currently, vivo has officially announced the release date of the vivo X100 Ultra and vivo X100s new phones.
It is reported that these two new devices will officially arrive on May 13th this year. In other words, next Monday, everyone will be able to see the official debut of these new products.
Now, as the release date of the new products approaches, vivo's official teasers and external product leaks are appearing in large numbers.
Today, blogger @Digital Chat Station exposed the specifications of the all-new vivo X100s in a post.
Reportedly, this new device will be a flagship model with a 6.78-inch straight screen, featuring a straight screen design, 28001260 resolution, and support for short-focus optical fingerprint recognition. It comes with a right-angle metal frame, measuring 7.8mm thick and weighing 203g.
In the imaging department, this new device features a 32-megapixel front selfie camera, a 50-megapixel rear camera, a 50-megapixel lens, and a 64-megapixel 3X periscope lens combination, equipped with a V2 imaging chip and a Zeiss T coating.
In terms of core specifications, this new device is powered by the Dimensity 9300+ chip, offering configurations of 12+256GB, 16+256GB, 16+512GB, and 16+1TB, with a built-in 5100mAh battery and support for 100W fast charging.
It is reported that the Dimensity 9300+ adopts a full large-core CPU architecture, with an octa-core CPU consisting of 4 Cortex-X4 super large cores with a maximum frequency of up to 3.4GHz, and 4 Cortex-A720 large cores with a frequency of 2.0GHz.
In terms of generative AI capabilities, the Dimensity 9300+ supports AI inference decoding acceleration technology on the edge, and also supports the Dimensity AI LoRA Fusion 2.0 technology, providing a more efficient and personalized generative AI experience.
The Dimensity 9300+ supports cutting-edge mainstream generative AI large models, offering users a multi-modal innovative experience of generative AI on the edge for text, images, music, and more. At the same time, the slightly higher positioned vivo X100s Pro is also equipped with the Dimensity 9300+ processor, a rear camera setup consisting of IMX989+JN1+OV64B 100mm APO triple cameras, a built-in 5400mAh battery, and supports 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging.
The top-of-the-line vivo X100 Ultra features a design that continues the style of several previous models, with a curved screen and a body back shell that adopts a curved transition at the edges, visually narrowing the overall design.
In terms of specific specifications, the vivo X100 Ultra will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 processor, a Samsung 2K E7 curved screen, a high-density 5400/5500±mAh battery, support for 80W fast charging, and the top-of-the-line version supports satellite communication function, offering three configurations: 12+256GB, 16+512GB, 16+1TB.
In terms of imaging specifications, the vivo X100 Ultra features a 200-megapixel Zeiss APO super telephoto lens paired with an HP9 sensor; the main camera is a 50-megapixel LYT-900 main camera, supporting CIPA 4.5-level gimbal stabilization; there is also a 50-megapixel wide-angle lens, combined with the latest V3+ imaging chip.
At the same time, two models, V2366GA and V2366HA, of the new vivo phones have recently passed wireless radio certification. The latter is named "Tiantong-1 Satellite Mobile Communication System Terminal."
According to leaked information, the two new phones are the vivo X100 Ultra standard version and the top version, both supporting 80W wired fast charging. The latter comes with the Tiantong-1 Satellite Mobile Communication System built-in.
This means that the vivo X100 Ultra will not come with satellite communication as a standard feature, but it will be exclusive to the top version.
Based on this, the pricing of this new device is also noteworthy. Combining existing leaks, the price of the top-of-the-line version of the vivo X100 Ultra is expected to be in the 8000 yuan range.
In terms of device pricing, this new product is positioned in the ultra-high-end segment, which means it will need to compete with multiple brands' ultra-high-end flagships after its release.
