The 520 Offshore Survey and Test Platform of PowerChina Zhongnan Engineering Corporation is currently the most intelligent and versatile mobile comprehensive engineering survey and research platform in China, with a water depth capability of up to 75 meters. It is mainly used for marine geological exploration, marine exploration technology, and equipment research. The platform, invested and developed by PowerChina Zhongnan Engineering Corporation, features a four-legged self-elevating structure, a streamlined hull, and an extra-large deck area, capable of supporting 60 people for continuous operations at sea for up to 25 days. Designed for operations at a water depth of 75 meters, with a maximum operational depth of 85 meters, it meets the requirements for surveying wind farms in various sea areas in China, enabling high-precision marine survey operations, marine resource exploration, and earth science research. 664b355ae4b03b5da6d0f213.jpg The Central and Southern Institute's 520 offshore survey and test platform.

In addition, the "Central and Southern Institute 520" platform can also serve as a carrier and test verification equipment, supporting the testing and empirical research of new marine exploration equipment.

China Electric Power Construction Central and Southern Institute has customized and developed a digital twin system, intelligent energy management system, digital survey system, and intelligent monitoring system for the platform. Based on the integration of meteorological, hydrological, and strain monitoring data, the systems utilize digital twins, numerical inversion, AI intelligent analysis, and other digital technologies to achieve real-time dynamic monitoring of the platform's navigation status, energy efficiency status, and structural status. This provides scientific decision-making support for predictive maintenance of equipment and platform operation strategies, integrates offshore operation progress, quality, and results into a unified management system, efficiently identifies dangerous events and crew risky behaviors, ensures efficient and safe navigation, and builds the national strategic technological strength in the field of offshore survey. 664b3579e4b03b5da6d0f215.jpg Mobile 75-meter-depth offshore research platform.
