At the same time, the official announcement states that their brand-new rugged SUV, the Deep Blue G318, is set to be launched. The vehicle is scheduled for pre-orders to begin in May, with deliveries to consumers commencing in June.
The Deep Blue G318 is positioned as a rugged off-road SUV, offering a range of optional configurations including external spare tire, luggage rack, spotlights, and electric pedals, and comes with towing qualifications.
In terms of dimensions, the Deep Blue G318 measures 4998/1985/1960 millimeters in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 2880 millimeters, surpassing competitors like the Leopard 5 and Tank 300 in both length and wheelbase.
For power, the Deep Blue G318 is equipped with a 1.5T turbocharged engine and front and rear dual motors, providing a total system power of up to 316kW.
In addition, this model also features a "tank turn" function, which locks the rear wheels intermittently to reduce the turning radius and achieve a turning effect similar to the Range Rover Evoque.
According to Changan Automobile's plan, the Deep Blue G318 is set to be officially launched in the second quarter of this year, with an expected price range around 300,000 yuan.
