After two months, Honor has brought us the Magic6 series of oversized cup phones targeting the high-end market. Compared to the previous models, Honor Magic6 Ultimate and Honor Magic6 RSR Porsche Design have been upgraded in appearance, imaging, and screen aspects.
Magic6 Ultimate: Subtle Balance of Stability and Agility
This time, the Honor Magic6 Ultimate comes in two colors: Celestial Purple and Meteorite Black. We got the "Meteorite Black" variant. Unlike the previous Ultimate edition, this generation features a square camera module, with two staggered lines running through the entire back of the product, adding dynamism while maintaining stability.
In terms of overall visual appeal, it's more distinctive compared to the previous generation's circular design elements, while still retaining the use of premium leather material for the body, which epitomizes the identity of the ultimate flagship edition.
The Porsche-designed Honor Magic6 RSR is a fusion of classic and contemporary styles. Available in two colors, Agate Gray and Ice Berry Pink, it features a centrally symmetrical design with a slightly raised ridge running down the center of the back cover.
The imaging module still retains the iconic Muse Eye design from the Magic family lineage. Setting it apart from the standard and Pro versions, the Porsche design incorporates a hexagonal shape.
The curved edge design reduces the visual protrusion, balancing geometric aesthetics with ergonomic feel.
The front of both phones features a 6.80-inch curved OLED display with a floating streamlined design. They support adaptive refresh rates ranging from 1 to 120Hz. In terms of screen material, both are equipped with Honor Diamond Rhino Glass, providing a tenfold increase in hardness. Additionally, the Honor Magic6 RSR Porsche Design version has been upgraded to feature the Honor Glare Oasis eye protection screen.

In terms of imaging, both the Honor Magic6 RSR Porsche Design and the Honor Magic6 Ultimate Edition boast a 50-megapixel main camera.
First up is the main camera, located in the bottom left corner of the camera module, the ultra-dynamic eagle-eye main camera utilizes the OV-customized H9800 sensor, which is the industry's first mobile imaging sensor based on LOFIC technology. It boasts a large 1/1.3-inch sensor, supports aperture adjustment from F1.4 to F2.0, and provides OIS stabilization.
To the right of the main camera is an ultra-wide-angle lens, while directly above is a periscopic telephoto lens with a whopping 180 million pixels and a 1/1.49-inch sensor. Adjacent to the telephoto lens on the left side is a monochrome LED flash and a multispectral color temperature sensor, while on the right side is a Flicker sensor and the industry's first 1200-point laser radar array autofocus system.
Utilizing a 1200-point laser focus matrix coupled with a 400 hardware phase focusing window, along with 60FPS high-speed detection and 30FPS exposure avoidance focusing, the scanning frame rate is boosted by 400%, while achieving an 18-fold increase in focusing accuracy and a 100% improvement in focusing speed.
With the focus module in place, smartphones can effortlessly capture more focus points, endowing the camera with the ability to rapidly detect focus, ensuring excellent focus even when capturing swiftly moving pets or cars speeding down the road.
