March 30th update: The renowned American conjoined twin sisters are back in the spotlight as one of them has tied the knot. Abby and Brittany Hensel, aged 34, are well-known conjoined twin sisters in the United States. They gained national attention at the age of 6, appearing on nationally televised programs and even had their lives documented in the film "Together for Life." According to marriage records recently obtained by "Today," Abby actually got married back in 2021 to Josh Bowling, a 33-year-old nurse and military veteran, who also has a daughter. s_aa44a5aa47d1453b818bc18e27915126.jpg It's reported that these sisters were born on March 7, 1990. They were physically connected at birth due to incomplete separation of the fertilized egg in their mother's womb. However, no separation surgery was performed for safety reasons. They have two heads, two hearts, two spines (connected at the pelvis), two esophagi, two stomachs, three kidneys, two gallbladders, two sets of lungs, and one liver. Below the waist, their organs are shared, and they also share some nervous system connections. Interestingly, these sisters cannot fully sense each other. Brittany, on the left side, has no sensation of the right side's body, and Abby, on the right side, is the same for the left side. Typically, conjoined twins have a very low survival rate, but these sisters have defied the odds. Not only have they lived healthy lives for over 30 years, but they have also gone to college, become teachers, and are beloved by many. According to previous interviews, the sisters are also planning to have children, which if successful, would be another groundbreaking achievement. s_9a130ae892a6479591df8529e287b001.png
