Pulsestacks reported on April 30th that Colorful recently launched the Black Sea RZ500 air cooler on their official website. This cooler features a 5 heat pipe direct touch design, a single tower single fan structure, and is available in black and white color options.
The Black Sea RZ500 can be seen as an upgraded version of the Black Sea RZ400V2 with a heat pipe +1 enhancement:
Maintaining the 120x80x155mm tower body dimensions of the RZ400V2, the Black Sea RZ500 also retains the F5 R120 fan, increasing its heat dissipation capacity from around 238W to 255W.
Featuring a "triangular geometry" family design, the Black Sea RZ500 incorporates a wave fin matrix to reduce airflow resistance and lower wind noise, along with an anodized aluminum top cover to further enhance its overall aesthetics.
The Gigabyte Aorus Liquid Cooler 240 boasts a new vapor chamber assembly design on the black RZ500, allowing all five 6mm heat pipes to make direct contact with the CPU surface, enhancing the contact area.
The heatsink is equipped with an F5 R120 fan featuring FDB bearings, with a speed range of 500~2200RPM, maximum airflow of 86.73CFM, maximum air pressure of 3.2mmH2O, and maximum noise level of 32dB(A).
In terms of platform compatibility, the Black Sea RZ500 supports Intel LGA 115X / 1200 / 1700 / 1851 platforms, and on the AMD side, it supports AM4 / AM5 platforms.
According to information obtained from Pulsestacks on overclocking, the Black Sea RZ500 will be priced "10 yuan more expensive than the RZ400 (V2)". For reference, the initial price of the Black Sea RZ400V2 in black was 119 yuan, and it is currently selling for 149 yuan on e-commerce platforms.
