The AION S MAX is positioned as a compact sedan. Its 70 series models are equipped with lithium iron phosphate batteries, providing a combined driving range of 510 kilometers. Meanwhile, the 80 series models use ternary lithium batteries, offering an extended range of 610 kilometers.
The 2024 AION S MAX retains the common closed front-end design typical of pure electric vehicles, while adopting a through-type taillight design at the rear.
With dimensions measuring 4810/1880/1515 millimeters in length, width, and height respectively, it boasts a wheelbase of 2750 millimeters.
The car features a 14.6-inch floating center display and full LCD instrument panel in its interior. The lower part of the center console is adorned with wood grain decoration, while the three-spoke D-shaped steering wheel is wrapped in leather material of two different colors.
The AION S MAX 70 model features a maximum power of 150 kilowatts for its drive motor, accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 7.5 seconds, and comes with a 59.5 or 60 kilowatt-hour lithium iron phosphate battery, offering a combined driving range of 510 kilometers.
On the other hand, the AION S MAX 80 model boasts a maximum power of 180 kilowatts for its drive motor, accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 6.7 seconds, and is equipped with a 67.9 kilowatt-hour ternary lithium battery, providing a combined driving range of 610 kilometers.
Over the past six months, AION S has achieved a cumulative sales volume of 68,428 units, ranking second in the compact car market, just behind the BYD Qin PLUS EV.
