On March 30th, Huawei's Yu Chengdong announced in a post that the Wisdom Horizon S7 has commenced mass delivery. Currently, a large number of new Wisdom Horizon S7 vehicles have left the production line and are being sent to various parts of the country for delivery.
Yu Chengdong stated that as the first smart car in the Hongmeng Smart Travel lineup, the Wisdom Horizon S7 is a luxury sedan in the C-segment to D-segment that is highly favored by young people.
Apart from boasting an exceptionally high "room rate," the luxurious Zhijie S7 is also loaded with 8 cutting-edge Huawei technologies, including the Tu Ling chassis and automated parking, making it a super-safe and technologically advanced smart car.
The Zhijie S7, co-developed by Huawei and Chery, was unveiled in November last year. Delays in production and delivery were experienced due to chip shortages and factory relocation. However, production has now resumed, and delivery is back on track.
The Zhijie S7 lineup comprises four models: the Zhijie S7 Pro, Zhijie S7 Max, Zhijie S7 Max+, and Zhijie S7 Max RS, priced at ¥249,800, ¥289,800, ¥319,800, and ¥349,800 respectively.
Previously, Yu Chengdong stated at a press conference, "There was heated debate within the company regarding the pricing of this model. The specifications of the Zhijie S7 surpass those of vehicles like the Tesla Model S and the Mercedes EQE, yet its price is comparable to that of the Tesla Model 3."
Interestingly, Xiaomi's recently unveiled SU7 is also priced relative to the Tesla Model 3. Lei Jun mentioned that it is priced ¥215,900, aiming to undercut the Model 3 by ¥30,000.
