On March 6th, at the launch event for the new Tengshi D9, the 2024 model was officially unveiled with significant enhancements in 7 key areas compared to its predecessor. The specific improvements are as follows:
Standard electric suction doors across the entire lineup, equipped with anti-pinch functionality.
Upgraded second-row touchscreen to 6.0 inches.
Addition of physical adjustment shortcuts for second-row seats.
Installation of dual small tables for the second row.
Introduction of anti-stain streaming media rearview mirror.
Upgraded compressor-type 7.5L refrigeration and heating refrigerator, supporting 12-hour insulation after locking the car.
Upgraded front passenger seat with height and lumbar adjustments in 4 directions.
Since its debut, the Tengshi D9 has become a phenomenon in the Chinese MPV market. With a cumulative sales volume of 127,840 units in 2023, it secured the annual sales champion position in the MPV market. Achieving the milestone of 100,000 units in just 11 months from production to market, it stands as the fastest domestically produced new energy luxury car to reach this production milestone.
In terms of power, the new vehicle is equipped with a DM-i plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 1.5T engine and front and rear dual motors. The maximum power is 102 kilowatts, with the front and rear electric motors delivering maximum powers of 170 kilowatts and 45 kilowatts, respectively. Additionally, a pure electric version will be offered, continuing to support dual fast charging.
